The Return of Joy
One way to approach life is to trust in the sun’s promise, to believe and hope in the return of joy. Just like the sun rises and sets every day, so does our mood and emotion. We experience day, when we feel bright and cheerful. We experience night, when we feel dark and gloomy. But we know that the night is not the end, that the sun will rise again and bring a new day.
The sun’s promise is a metaphor that can help us to deal with the ups and downs of life. It can help us to be more optimistic and hopeful, to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It can help us to be more patient and resilient, to endure the hardship and wait for the relief. It can help us to be more flexible and adaptable, to adjust to the changing circumstances and embrace the new opportunities.
The sun’s promise also reminds us that joy and sorrow are not mutually exclusive, but rather complementary and interdependent. We cannot appreciate the joy without experiencing the sorrow, and we cannot understand the sorrow without knowing the joy. They are both part of the human condition, and they both have a role and a purpose in our lives. They both teach us something about ourselves and the world, and they both enrich our existence.
What is your experience of joy and sorrow in your life? How do you cope with them? How do you find joy again after sorrow?
