Perhaps the answer to why the sweetest fruits of life are so difficult to obtain lies in cultivating two essential qualities: gratitude and appreciation.
What is Gratitude and Appreciation?
When we feel thankful for what we have, we experience gratitude. When we recognize the value and quality of something or someone, we experience appreciation. Both of these feelings can help us to see the bright side of our lives, rather than the dark one. They may also help us to handle stress, improve our relationships, and enhance our well-being. But what makes us feel grateful or appreciative? How do we express these feelings to ourselves and others? And how do they affect our outlook on life?
